Industry Analyst

Job Location: Shanghai
Reports to: China Country Manager
Job Responsibilities:
Some of the key responsibilities for this position are:

• Following ARC's established methodology, conduct market research and consulting for the automation and manufacturing industries in China
• Developing forecasts of segment growth
• Writing industry reports and news articles in English and Chinese
• Providing consulting support to ARC clients in China and around the world
• Giving presentations on manufacturing and automation-related topics
• Work with ARC staff to develop an ARC community of manufacturers in China
• Support the company’s business development activities, including website content and participation in conferences

Job Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have, at a minimum, the following qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of process manufacturing experience from working for a manufacturer, automation supplier, or consulting organization
• Candidate must possess excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills
• Diverse experience preferred, such as operations, quality assurance, Research and Development (R&D), business development, or market research
• Strong oral and written communication skills (English and Chinese)
• Skilled at giving presentations on manufacturing technologies and industry trends
• A bachelors degree (master’s or MBA preferred)
