The Ultra400 Series workstation is a high performance design in a low cost 4U rack mount enclosure. Feature rich, the Ultra400 Series workstation is a solid, robust design which will meet the most rigorous and demanding requirements. This workstation is ideal for I/O intensive applications such as telephony, data acquisition, Digital Video Recording (DVR), high density web server, back office server, firewall, proxy server and VPN gateway applications including collocation
The enclosure is constructed of 18 gauge steel, clear zinc plated for corrosion protection and an attractive appearance. The front panel is attractively detailed and is of heavier gauge than the chassis
The chassis provides for three 5.25-inch drives and one 3.5-inch drive, all front accessible. Various drive adapters are available to allow hot-swap IDE and SCSI drive configurations
The power supply is a redundant supply
A full width lockable door covers and protects the drives. Accessible behind the door is the power and reset switches. The HDD LED's are mounted on the door
A full width filter is provided behind the door and is easily accessed for cleaning. Cooling is provided by one 120CFM fans
The Ultra400 Chassis provides for mounting an ATX motherboard or accepts a 14-slot passive backplane. An innovative card hold-down mechanism assures cards stay seated in high-G environments such as shipping
