七.ISA产品 17. Kvaser PCcan
Application support
Kvaser CanKing
Software Platforms
Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003, Windows 95/98/ME, Windows NT4, Windows 3.x, DOS,
The PCcan product family comprises three members: PCcan 4xHS, PCcan HS/HS, and PCcan HS
Hardware
The board is a quarter-size (length 135 mm) 8-bit ISA bus board and occupies 64 bytes of I/O space. The base address can be any of 200 H , 240 H , 300 H , and 340 H . The interrupt signal on the CAN controllers can be connected – under software control – to any one of IRQ 2/9, IRQ 3, and IRQ 5 on the ISA bus. The original 16 MHz oscillator may be replaced with an oscillator of frequency range 1–24 MHz to obtain the required bit rate on the bus. The PCcan 4xHS board draws approximately 600 mA at 5V. The industry-standard CAN controllers on the PCcan cards are directly accessible to the programmer. This makes the cards suitable for cross-platform development: you can develop your software on your PC and then move it, with a minimum of changes, to your embedded system. The CAN controllers support CAN 2.0 A and 2.0 B (active.) The CAN bus drivers supports the standard, high-speed ISO11898 physical layer. External Connector
The outputs from the CAN circuits are connected to female D-SUB connectors via optocouplers and bus drivers (Philips 82C251, conforming to ISO 11898). The connectors provide the voltage feed for the bus section (optocouplers and driver circuits). Alternatively the PC is used as power source; however this gives no galvanic separation between the computer and the CAN bus. On the PCcan 4xHS card, it is possible to connect all the 4 CAN in/outputs to a common CAN bus, which is also connected to the CAN-connector. Software
The following software is available for the Kvaser PCcan family:
Driver routines: libraries for DOS; 16-bit DLL for Windows 3.1 ; 32-bit support for Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP and NT 4.0 CanKing for Windows, a general-purpose interactive CAN bus monitor/analyzer with special support for CanKingdom and DeviceNet Kvaser CANLIB SDK , which includes everything you need to develop software for the Kvaser CAN boards. 19. Kvaser Protocol Stacks
Please contact us for more information about these products.
Kvaser Protocol Stack for CANopen
The KVASER CANopen stack is a user friendly API designed for high performance CANopen network.
Kvaser CANopen stack is very memory efficient. The stack is equipped with predefined compile parameters that offers the possibility to ignore support for unused CANopen optional functionality for the specific CANopen node to save even more memory if necessary to suit the wide range of needed complexity of an CANopen protocol implementations that you may have. Within the code, related blocks of functionality are grouped together in easily maintainable modules.
Kvaser CANopen stack supports
NMT Master (module control service, reset node service, error control service, node guarding service, life guard event, heart beat event, boot up services,) NMT protocols (start, stop, reset, enter pre-operational, enter operational, reset communication), Synchronization Object (SYNC), Time Stamp Object (TIME), Emergency Object (EMCY), SDO Client/Server (expedited transfers and segmented transfers, configurable messages buffers and unlimited number of active SDOs), PDO handler, PDO inhibit time, Dynamic PDO mapping, SYNC master, and A Local Object dictionary. Communication between the CANopen Slave/Master and the application process takes place through easy-to-use and CPU-time efficient application communication functions described in the KVASER CANopen API documentation.
Kvaser CANopen code stack can run on all hardware supported by Kvaser CANLIB.
Kvaser Protocol Stack for NMEA2000
The NMEA 2000? stack is a set of ANSI C software modules that performs the core NMEA 2000? requirements. The stack interface is designed for compatibility with any operating system while providing fast-packet and transport protocol packetization, reassembly, and timing logic. The stack includes the network address claim logic, which may be configured off for "listen only" nodes. A configurable message identifier filter table optimizes the message reception process for your application. Operating system and target independent communication stack.
Includes Address Claim processing. Performs Fast packet timing requirements, packetization and reassembly. Performs Transport Protocol timing requirements, packetization and reassembly. Configurable message buffer sizes. Configurable message identifier filter table. Multiple stack instantiation support (for multiple CAN channels in the same device). RAM usage: 6 kilobytes ROM usage: 16 kilobytes Fully commented, royalty free, ANSI C source code Example code for Mitsubishi/Renesas M16C (M306N) and CANLib SDK. 22. Kvaser CanKing
Software Platforms
Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP & NT 4.0
Kvaser CanKing is a free CAN bus monitor and general-purpose diagnostic tool. It is especially suited for interactive development work. You can easily send CAN messages and study their impact on the target module. All you need is a Kvaser CAN interface. Kvaser CanKing is free of charge.
Features:
The basic version enables you to display the messages on the CAN bus, and optionally format them in a several different ways. You can also send CAN messages just by filling out a dialog box and press OK. There are many message layout options. (Users of CanKingdom will find support for almost all King's Pages here.)
Other features include:
A history list for the messages you have sent CAN bus statistics (number of messages, bus load etc) A traffic generator for studying your system under heavy bus load Time stamping of incoming and outgoing messages (time stamps can be displayed in both absolute and relative format)
Please note that CANKing is not a substitute for a full-blown CAN bus analyzer. It is intended for interactive development, not for heavy-duty logging of bus traffic.
CAN Interfaces
CANKing is supported by all CAN interfaces from Kvaser!
