Electrical interfaces are used to adapt the serial ports of all DirectLink?boards so equipped to the physical standard of the connected device such as RS232C, RS422, RS485, Profibus or 20mA current loop. For greater electrical protection of the computer and the DirectLink?boards, a version with galvanic insulation is available and reccomended.
